Annabel appears on Day Break
The AK team were excited this morning because Annabel appeared on Day Break! She was there to address the fact that a growing number of women are finding it difficult to find full time work, especially to fit around having a family. One dedicated member of the team was up at the crack of dawn to watch this in the comfort of her own living room, only to find out that Annabel had been moved to an earlier slot, rather Annabel than us, having to get up at 5am this morning!
Annabel was delighted to be asked to talk about this topic as it’s really hard for women to be able to find a job that fits around their family life, especially if they have young kids. Annabel was fortunate to be able to work from home when her children were young, but not everyone can do that, and the issues surrounding women in the work place need to be highlighted.
The AK team has a pretty strong contingent of women, both full-time and part-time, thank you to Annabel for mentioning us all on the show!!
