Here are some fun Summer activities for you and the children to try out this Summer
Do some Summer reading- Nip down to your local library and choose your favourite Summery books. Show the children some of your old favourites and lye on a blanket in the park or your garden reading in the sun. Maybe find one of our cookbooks and make a Summer menu.
Woodland Walks- If there is any woodland nearby then take a leisurely walk and see how many types of wildlife can be spotted.
Go down to the beach- Wonder down to your nearest beach and have fun splashing about in the waves or go down to the rock pools searching for crabs and hunt for different types of shells.
Make summer refreshments- Cool down by making some Annabel Karmel ice lollies or one of her tropical smoothies from ‘The Princess Party Cookbook’
Fruit Picking- Go and pick some of your favourite fruits to enjoy later in the day, maybe even add them to the ice lollies!
Picnic in the Park- Pack up a basket full of Annabel Karmel picnic treats and enjoy a fun day out in the park. Get the children to bring along their teddy bears and have a teddy bears picnic.
Make your own board games- This is the perfect thing to do if it is raining, help your children create their own board games and have fun playing the finished result
Scrap booking- Making a Summer scrapbook is a great way to store memories of the holiday and for your children to let out their creative sides. You can keep your Summer menu in here.
