Make pizza bases using mini muffins, focaccia bread or pita bread and let your child choose his or her favourite toppings such as strips of ham, pepper or tomato. Anoother good topping is caramelised red onion flavoured with balsamic vinegar and then topped with melted cheese!

Here is a delicious version of Chicken Nuggets,  for which you marinate the chicken in buttermilk, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, paprika and lemon and then coat in breadcrumbs and Parmesan. And get the kids to help whip up the dipping sauces!
