We’re half way into the summer holidays and we know the weather hasn’t been amazing but we hope you and your children have been cooking up some culinary delights!
Annabel takes part in various cooking workshops at Haven Holiday resorts and last week she headed north to the east coast and hosted an event at Primrose Valley in Filey, North Yorkshire.
The event was a massive success with all the children willing to participate in their very own episode of Annabel’s Kitchen!
In this first ever stage version of the popular CiTV show, Annabel’s Kitchen, Annabel and Jimmy made a Bagel Snake and it was tested by the yummy scrummy-o-meter…
They also demonstrated to the hundreds watching how to sculpt the Aubergine Penguin!

Annabel taught the children how to make Pin Wheel Sandwiches and Funny Face Sandwiches (a wonderful recipe which can be found in Lunchboxes) but Jimmy was up to his old tricks so he was put in the fridge to cool down!

The show lasted roughly 2 hours which was ideal as it was raining outside so the kids had something fun to do indoors. The children (and some of the parents!) also enjoyed playing a number of different games including food bingo and musical corners!

i would just like to say i was at the very first show that you did at haven (primrose valley) and it was brilliant. Holly loved meeting Annabel and Jimmy, we won the food bingo game so Holly won a fabulas cook book and also got to meet with Jimmy onstage (which she hasn’t stopped talking about). We love watching your show so it was a great treat seeing it live, Holly is now obsessed with having bagel snakes lol, once again thanks for a brilliant show.
